Lieutenant
Hi, Ish. When I started in law enforcement, I never dreamed that this career would make me a better person and expose me to so many twists and turns in my career.
Currently, I’m the community programs unit lieutenant but most of my career has been on patrol, particularly night shift.
I’m definitely not your typical cop. I’m a female and petite. With those facts, I take my training seriously. I kickbox, take BJJ classes and train at home. As a mom, I don’t get to as many classes per week as I’d like. However, I train with my coach Khama and take BJJ once a week. Whenever my kid gets older, I’m hoping to have more availability in the gym. For now, I’m happy I’m a white belt and learning.
