Chris Prascus

Chris Prascus is the founder and CEO of Valor Meat Snacks (also known as Valor Jerky). A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, he served as a weapons-systems specialist on F-16 fighters in the 421st “Black Widows” Fighter Squadron.

After leaving military service, Chris drew upon his family’s long-standing recipe tradition — passed down to him by his family — to launch Valor in order to craft premium-quality meat snacks with purpose.

Under his leadership, the company emphasizes not just great taste and rugged branding, but also mission-driven values: as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, Valor dedicates a portion of its profits to nonprofits supporting veterans, first responders, and community-serving institutions.

Today, Chris remains at the helm steering Valor’s growth, focused on blending high-quality product innovation with veteran-centric philanthropy, and building a brand that stands for “quality. patriotism. purpose.”
