Police Lieutenant Veteran - Alienated Father - Podcaster
I’ve been on the job, as a Police Officer, since January 1997, starting as a civilian dispatcher 6 months beforehand. Promoted to Sergeant in 2005, then Lieutenant in 2015. One of the assignments I enjoyed the most was being a member of our SWAT Team from 2002 to 2004. Most of my experience was in uniform, but for 7 ½ years I worked as the agency’s accreditation manager, developing and writing policy/procedure. I was also our agency’s training officer. These are all hollow, meaningless accomplishments compared to when I became a father to my first daughter in 2009, my second in 2011,and third in 2014.
