If you want to be part of something great, you can’t start making exceptions. Once you start chipping away at your standards, the entire framework of what you are building erodes.
There are standards that must be met, regardless of the business you are in. This is not personal; it is strictly business. If you begin to erode those standards, the entire framework of what you’re building starts to erode.
If you cannot or will not meet the standard, there are no hard feelings. It just means it’s time for you to go do something else. Don’t lower the bar…you either meet the standard, or you find a new path..
