In this episode, Travis Scott talks about the hardest transition in his Jiu-Jitsu journey: earning his blue belt. Why is it so hard? Because it forces you to completely embrace the suck. It’s a daily, humbling process of stepping onto the mat, and realizing you are at the bottom of the food chain.
Most people never make it past this phase because they refuse to let go of their ego. They hate being humbled. But if you want to be great, you have to let the process break you down so you can be built back up stronger.
Leave your ego at the door and embrace the suck.
